How to Create The Bed of Your Dreams

As a designer, some of the most frequently asked questions I get are about beds. Whether you're wondering which fabric makes for the softest sheets, which color duvet to choose, or how to arrange your pillows - I have all of the advice you need to transform your bed into something out of a hotel.

At the end of the day, all we really want is to crawl into a cozy bed. That's why your sheets and bedding matter the most - and I have a few favorite materials and brands. In order to really create the "hotel bed" look, we have a few recommendations. Choose a duvet cover that is soft, cozy, beautiful, and durable. it's all in the pillows

Pillows help tie the whole bed together, so choosing the right ones are important. We always recommend four king size pillows - two for show, and two for comfort. These down alternative pillows by Parachute come in 3 different densities - soft, medium and firm.
